It has been a busy period for the renowned UK yacht design studio, Dubois Naval Architects, with two new sailing yachts for design signed. These include a 49-metre composite sloop for an existing Dubois owner, as well as a 51-metre flybridge sloop for new clients.
The 49m Dubois sailing yacht concept will feature very comfortable and adaptable guest accommodation, comprising of three guest cabins and a full beam master suite.
The sleek and stylish exterior styling of the 49m Dubois superyacht concept will incorporate a fixed bimini over the cockpit, which gives protection to the cockpit dining area and the helm consoles alike.
As for the 51m Dubois sailing yacht concept, its planned layout is for an Owner’s stateroom and four guest cabins. The owner’s stateroom will feature a fold-down balcony.
Work progresses on several other designs at Dubois, notably the 101m superyacht 380, and a 31,3m which will soon sign with a shipyard. Progress also continues on the Dubois designs currently in build; the two 46m motoryachts underway at Feadship de Vries, a 37,5m sailing yacht at Fitzroy Yachts, a 46m performance-orientated sloop at Vitters Shipyard, and the production ranges for Southerly and Windy.
