Dubois-designed vessels have been exceptionally successful at this year´s regattas. Four of them participated at the 2012 NZ Millennium Cup in February, won by the 34m sailing yacht Silvertip by Yachting Developments, followed by the 33.6m Imagine B superyacht, the 40m luxury yacht Janice of Wyoming as well as the 32m superyacht Eclipse C.
Five Dubois designs took part in the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous at which 13 yachts raced, complimented by an impressive fleet of 12 spectating motoryachts.
But perhaps most impressive of all was the attendance of 10 Dubois designs at the St. Barths Bucket, making up almost a quarter of the 46 strong fleet. Dubois team was delighted to see the 45m luxury yacht Lady B win her class and place second overall behind the separately classed, classic style charter yacht This Is Us. Lady B gave the most impressive performance of the modern yachts and looked spectacular. The 39m luxury charter yacht Ganesha and the 57.5m Twizzle superyacht placed second and third in class respectively. All of the yachts were sailed beautifully and it really was a sight to behold.
Dubois now looks forward to the summer events in the Mediterranean where at present, Ganesha, the 37m charter yacht Moonbird, the 44m Salperton yacht and Twizzle will race at the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta (June 4th – 9th) and to the Superyacht Cup in Palma (June 20th – 23rd) where Ganesha and Salperton are again confirmed entrants.
