This summer saw Dun Laoghaire Marina, a beautiful Ireland yacht charter location, host two majestic superyachts, including the 46m luxury yacht Christopher and the 28m sailing yacht First Light (ex Cabochon). The fabulous Five Gold Anchor rated Dun Laoghaire Marina is located in the historic harbour of Dun Laoghaire, positioned on the southern shore of Dublin Bay.
Beautifully penned by renowned Ron Holland, the outstanding 46m Pendennis sailing yacht Christopher, launched at the end of 2010, represents the largest superyacht that has ever visited the marina in the 155 years of the harbour’s history. Owner, family and crew enjoyed being located on the door-step to Ireland’s capital city and all the cultural attractions that Dublin has to offer.
Following Christopher yacht’s departure, Dun Laoghaire Marina welcomed the 28m superyacht First Light (ex Cabochon). Being berthed so close to a major capital city has proved to be a huge attraction for the vessel’s owner and crew. Ideal for extensive long distance cruises, First Light is a majestic 92-foot pilothouse sloop, built by Ta Chiou Chou to a design by Fontaine Design Group in 2006.
