Dykstra Naval Architects is delighted to announce that several of their yacht designs will be showcased at the upcoming boot Dusseldorf 2015. The event will run from January 17 to 25.
One of the yachts at Boot 2015 in Dusseldorf is The Flyer 33, built by Flyer Yachts. She is a premium daysailer/weekender with great performance and considerable comfort. Designed with a modern plumb bow, classic stern and a gracious, low freeboard she is a head turning beauty. Jeroen de Vos from Dykstra Naval Architects: “The Flyer 33 is a true gentlemen’s yacht with an attractive design typically seen on Super Yachts”.
Her sail wardrobe features a North Sails furling jib, battened mainsail and an optional 65m2 gennaker to enhance downwind performance. During the first test sails she managed to hit 10 knots under gennaker. She offers significant comfort to spend a weekend aboard. Below deck there is a spacious V-berth plus two additional berths to accommodate four comfortably. The compact galley has a sink and large (40L) fridge to keep drinks cold. The heads can be enclosed with a privacy curtain. The Flyer 33 can be visited at stand no. 15/ D38.
