Dynamiq has provided more details on the new ‘Global’ line of four compact explorer yachts ranging in size from 30m/98ft to 44m/144ft, named the G300 G350 G380 and G440 that was originally unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019.
The vessels have been designed with young families in mind and have been constructed with a shallow draft to offer excellent access to shallow waterways. Models in the range have features which include:
- Lightweight aluminium hull for efficiency
- Top speeds of 16-19 knots
- Extensive cruising range of 4,000+ nautical miles
- Foiling technology for greater comfort by reducing roll
- Contemporary exteriors and high-quality interiors from international designers
- A generous interior volume which increases by 100 GT with each size increase – the G300 is 200 GT, the G350 is 299GT, the G380 is 399GT, and the 440 is 499GT.
The G300
Measuring 30.5m/100ft, explorer yacht G330 is the smallest of the series yet comes with a top speed of 19 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles. The upper deck can be transformed to suit the social occasion and comes with a fireplace, while a 5mx6m (16.4ftx19.7ft) inflatable swimming pool off the stern creates a safe area for children and adults alike to enjoy the water. It is the only yacht in the range that has a Master suite on the lower deck, where it is less affected by rough sea conditions while cruising.
The G350
The 35m/114.8ft G350 explorer yacht has a beam of 8.5m/27.9ft and a draft of only 1.8m/5.9ft. The interiors provide a spacious main salon and accommodation for 10 guests over five en-suite cabins, including a Master suite on the main deck that has side terraces. A pair of MAN V8 1200 engines give her a maximum speed of 16 knots and at an economical 10 knots she consumes just 62 litres of fuel per hour.
The G380
The 38m/124.7ft G380 differed from the rest of the series as it is the only hull built from steel to offer guests reduced noise and vibrations. The Master suite on the main deck has two fixed balconies, while shared guest spaces include a wheelhouse with uninterrupted forward views, a generous sundeck and a beach club complete with sauna. At cruising speed, she has a range of 4,500 nautical miles.
The G440
At 44m/144ft, the G440 is the largest superyacht in the range and boasts such features as a large aft tender garage for storing two tenders of 7m/23ft, plus a helideck for helicopters like the Eurocopter 135 with a D-value of 10m/32.8ft. Ready to cruise anywhere in the world, the MAN V8-1200 engines produce a top speed of 17 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at an economical 10 knots.
Dynamiq founder and CEO Sergei Dobroserdov commented on the new expedition yacht range:
“Following up on client requests, we have been looking at the explorer market for quite a while and this year we decided to come into the game with something completely different for our more adventurous owners.
“Instead of slow, steel-hulled explorers with the typical commercial styling, we drew on our forward-thinking approach to create a fast and modern series of vessels. We specifically designed the Global yachts to be below 45m to match a much broader type of client and their families. Moreover, thanks to their compact size they can truly explore and enter the small bays and inlets where bigger yachts can’t get near.”
The exterior styling comes from in-house team Dobroserdov Design and the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) comes from Van Oossanen Naval Architects. All models come with a main salon with fireplace, an aft deck sauna (except the G300), an inflatable pool and storage for Scuba diving and fishing equipment, plus a DJI Drone, a 100m/328ft-range ROV and a Celestron telescope.
