The announcement comes from the organisers of the Singapore and Thailand Yacht Shows, who confirm the first edition of the Hong Kong Yacht Show to take place from the 19th till 22nd of November 2020.
Hong Kong Yacht Show 2020
As part of the Hong Kong International Cruise and Yachting Festival, the show will be hosted by HKCYIA and Verventia. As private yacht charters have been gaining popularity in the region, the main emphasis will be placed on promoting the South China Sea and coasts near Hong Kong and Macao.
The event organisers describe Hong Kong as a destination with huge potential for yachting. In 2020 the global yachting industry will need great support from to be able to bring in new business, create more jobs and help some companies to prosper, mentioned chief executive of HKCYIA, Kara Yeung.
The other large event in Asia this year is the Singapore Yacht Show which will be held from the 15th – 18th October.
