Endeavour Quay, the Gosport specialist boat yard, is delighted to be home to the newly refitted TP52 5˚ WEST yacht. The previous TeamOrigin yacht has gone through a service as well as refit period, managed by Boat Captain Simon Clarke, with her mast down and keel off in the undercover shed at Endeavour Quay. Now back on the water ready to campaign, sailing yacht 5˚ WEST’s Gosport based team will dry sail the TP52 out of Endeavour Quay for the season.
Last week saw the new look TP52 5˚ WEST yacht out training in the Solent in some extreme conditions including 50 knot winds ahead of this weekend’s Easter Regatta.
Boat Captain Simon Clarke commented, “We are really pleased to be operating out of Endeavour Quay this season. The Open Yard Policy and sheds made it the ideal place for us to have the refit done and then to be able to dry sail straight into the Solent is perfect for the campaign. Tim and his team have provided a very professional service, helping us ensure the project was completed on time. It would be great to have other TP52s and the like based alongside us.”
