The first ever Superyacht Cup Cowes, held in July 22-25, 2012 has attracted an impressive 21 provisional entries to date ranging from 24-67m comprising the Dykstra & Partners designed 55m sailing yacht Adela built by Pendennis Shipyard, the Hoek designed 62m superyacht Athos built by Holland Jachtbouw and the Dykstra & Partners designed impressive 67m Hetairos superyacht built by Baltic Yachts.
Organised in association with the prominent Royal Yacht Squadron, participants will be treated to a unique sailing experience in the waters of the Solent including a race around the Isle of Wight, the course made famous by the first ever America´s Cup, that time called the Hundred Guinea Cup, held in 1851.
