Preparations for the next year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), set to run from May 22 to 25, are well underway. The organizers will soon be launching the new and easy to navigate SCIBS website and exhibitor applications are set to go live on October 23.
NEW ERA FOR SCIBS
The Boat Show team is busy preparing for the next 25 years after SCIBS celebrated its silver anniversary in a hugely successful show this year.
Sales, sponsorship and events manager Johan Hasser said the new era of SCIBS will bring a raft of changes to the Boat Show concept, layout and entertainment program to the benefit of both exhibitors and visitors. “Each year we learn from the show before, what to better and what can work more efficiently. We have listened to what exhibitors and visitors want from the show, and have tailored next year’s program to deliver just that,” he said. “Twenty-five years is a great achievement and we had a successful year with an increase in overall visitors and positive feedback from our exhibitors, but now we are looking to the next 25 years.”
SCIBS 2014 is all about setting in place a new standard of event that will continue to grow and develop, building on a popular concept that will appeal to the event’s current audience and the new generation of boat lovers.
NEW LOOK FOR SCIBS 2014
The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show will take on a fresh new look for its 26th year as part of an exciting long-term branding strategy.
The invigoration of the SCIBS brand is anchored by a new user-focused website which will go live on October 23, improving access to information and ease of use for exhibitors and visitors.
The event’s exhibition layout has also been redesigned, with the relocation of the arrival, departure and main entry as well as changes to pavilion floor plans, a new open area at the Docks and alterations to The Promenade boardwalk.
Sales, sponsorship and events manager Johan Hasser said breathing fresh, new air into the Boat Show was a reflection of Sanctuary Cove’s commitment to its long-term viability as it moves into its next phase of growth.
