New President & Council elected
The Council, which acts as a board and defines the association’s policies and strategies, elected Mr Robert Marx as the new President of European Boating Industry. Robert Marx is owner and CEO of Marx Technik, a German equipment distributor. Mr Marx is member of the Council since its creation and also the President of the German marine industry federation Bundesverband Wassersportwirtschaft (BVWW), which sponsors BOOT Düsseldorf, one of the biggest inside boat shows in Europe.

“I would like to thank outgoing President Conyn for his hard work over the past two years” said Robert Marx upon his election as President. “Fritz’s contribution to the work of the association has been instrumental in setting up an efficient representation of the boating industry in Europe. I hope to build on his work and continue growing the association. In particular, I look to actively promote membership of European Boating Industry and strengthen our work with private companies in Europe.”
