McMullen & Wing and Aquos Yachts have chosen a range of TRAC products including TRACZero Speed Stabilisers, powerpack, hydraulics and bow thrusters for their 50m superyacht Star Fish project.
Star Fish is the latest superyacht project in the Aquos Series. She will be built based on the same Greg Marshall designed hull plans as her sister ship superyacht Big Fish. A variation of the Aquos Yachts concept for serious but luxurious ocean-going yachts, she will use her extended length to provide additional load-carrying capacity, such as a seaplane or a submarine, and to provide an additional, sixth, stateroom.
The explorer megayacht Star Fish is due for launch in 2012, and is expected to follow the success of Big Fish in the international superyacht scene.
Luxury Explorer or expedition yachts like StarFish & Big Fish make wonderful charter yachts because they are especially designed for luxurious comfort in exotic out of the way locations. With motor yacht STAR FISH choosing a range of TRAC products including TRACZero Speed Stabilisers and bow thrusters the yacht will be stable and provide even more comfort at sea for her guests.
