Superyacht BASH has recently been unveiled after an extensive 18-month refit at Capax, a marine engineering company in Croatia. Originally built in 1990 with design by naval architect Vincenzo Ruggiero she boasts iconic status thanks to one her very famous previous guests.
The historic photograph of Princess Diana sat on the passarelle of a yacht in August 1997, was aboard luxury yacht BASH, known as Jonikal at the time and later Sokar. Portofino in Italy was the fabulous backdrop to this historic moment in time and this summer she will again be cruising the Mediterranean showing off her luxury upgrades.
The refit project included refurbishments across nearly every part of the yacht: new penetrations of a bulkhead and deck, new wheelhouse bulkhead, new wiring and plumbing, upgraded air conditioning and stabiliser systems plus other technical improvements. Internally, a new layout and decor was designed by Slovenian company Bobic Yacht Interiors turning her into a vastly improved yacht with years of service ahead of her.
“Getting to this point took a lot of hard work and required a lot of skill, but it was worth the effort. Our warmest thanks go to all those who contributed to the refit of the motor yacht BASH,” said Teo Petricevic, CEO of Capax Ltd.
With the spacious interior accommodating up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms, motor yacht BASH offers the ultimate luxury with a master suite including two bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, a private lounge and office, plus five double staterooms, all complete with en-suite bathrooms. Standout interior features include a vast main salon with a dining room, a bar, an onboard salon with massage and gym areas. Her decks feature two al fresco dining areas on both the bridge deck and the sun deck, various lounge seating areas, a jacuzzi, and a swim platform to her stern.
Superyacht BASH is available for charter throughout the Mediterranean this summer.
