Friday, April 5, saw the prestigious UK motor yacht builder, Fairline Boats Ltd, host its annual supplier conference, inviting suppliers worldwide to meet, develop relationships as well as highlight new innovations in boat-building supplies. The conference ended with an awards ceremony, celebrating the best in category for Fairline suppliers, comprising Best New Supplier and the Buyers Choice Award.

The full list of awards and winners in each category include:
• Most Proactive Supplier – Whale
Whale is a supplier of pumps and has worked with Fairline to standardize components and processes, in turn reducing installation time and improving quality overall
• Outstanding Customer Service – MJ Trimmers
MJ Trimmers is a supplier of upholstered furniture items and has recently re-engineered the entire business, resulting in the ability to fully service the new mixed model line process
• Best New Supplier – Righton
Righton is a supplier of raw materials. Righton won the Fairline business in 2012 and has improved service levels of supply whilst being professional and helpful throughout the transition period
• Buyers Choice Award – Monks and Crane
Monks and Crane is a supplier of consumables and has been a key partner in the set up of the new layout and manufacturing system in Corby. Monks and Crane also redesigned its supply channels and storage locations to ensure that the availability of consumables was simply not a constraint to our production teams
