Explorer yacht PROMISE, the first ice-class hull from the Dutch shipyard Feadship, has been delivered and is currently cruising to the US.
Featuring an exterior designed by Studio De Voogt and interiors by British studio Bannenberg & Rowell Design, 51m/167ft luxury yacht PROMISE is the ideal vessel for visiting destinations such as Canada and Alaska where the Kenai Fjords National Park and Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve are located.
Other destinations where superyacht PROMISE will be in her element include South America: The Patagonian region has incredible landscapes and a coast only accessible safely by ice-class explorer yachts, and even farther south the Antarctic is teeming with unique wildlife and stories of adventure.
Few details of the interior and onboard amenities have been released at this stage, however, M/Y PROMISE is known to have six en-suite cabins to sleep 12 guests, while her twin Caterpillar C-32 diesel engines give her a range of 4,500 nautical miles while cruising at 10 knots and a top speed of 14.5 knots.
