As the year 2015 comes to an end, the highly respected Dutch superyacht builder FEADSHIP looks back on an amazing year full of launches. No less than six exciting new Feadships in all shapes and sizes splashed this year, proving a great success of the shipyard’s pure custom creations.
The year 2015 started with the launch of the 57m HALO, outfitted in record 33 months at the special request of the owner, and boasting an eye-catching exterior profile and fantastic sun deck. The striking 46,40m KISS also hit the water this year, unveiling an exclusive owner’s deck and beautiful black livery, the most complex paint job undertaken on a superyacht to date.
The all-new highly innovative 44,20m MOON SAND was also launched, fitted with a gorgeous swimming pool aft, as well as giant openable bridge deck windows. This year also saw the launch of the imposing 92,50m ROYAL ROMANCE, hosting a 12-metre pool connected to a waterfall lit up by LEDs.
This year, Feadship also launched the world’s first hybrid motoryacht. SAVANNAH, this groundbreaking 83,50m design, boasts a floating glass superstructure, a dual deck open zone and much more besides. Last but not least is the largest Feadship launched to date, the voluminous 101,50m SYMPHONY. She is also the first Feadship to meet the new PYC regulations.
It has been a highly successful year for the shipyard, and there is undoubtedly much more to come in 2016.
