Dutch shipyard Feadship has announced the successful launch of its 88.4m/289.9ft luxury yacht PROJECT 816, emerging from the shipyard for the first time since May 2019.
The powerful and elegant profile from De Voogt has a plumb bow and strong horizontal lines which clearly mark the five decks. There is ample space on the bow for lounging facilities and other amenities, while the stern section offers a large swim platform, with the aft sections gradually becoming narrower from the main deck up to the sundeck. The white hull matches perfectly with the superstructure, further contrasted by long dark windows that stretch the length of the interiors, which were created by Nauta Design and FM Architettura.
Few details are currently known about the interior amenities, however, the accommodation provides for up to 16 guests and a crew of 25, ensuring professional service on board wherever PROJECT 816 may travel.
Construction will now continue on PROJECT 816 before she undergoes sea trials in the North Sea. She is expected for delivery in early 2021 when her name will also be revealed.
