The impressive 87,78 metre Feadship megayacht Musashi has won the ‘Best Motoryacht over 65m’ and the International Superyacht Society awards. Yacht Musashi also took home the prize for ‘Best Interior’, at a glittering awards gala in Fort Lauderdale, capping an excellent year for one of the largest and most impressive Feadships built to date.
The magnificent motor yacht Musashi was delivered in the spring of 2011, and is an exceptional example of the flexibility Feadship clients enjoy on a genuine custom build. The Musashi yacht was created for experienced owners, and is an inspirational synthesis of Japanese design and art deco-style elements. Her elegant profile features clear lines and an optimal use of light and space. Her striking exterior flows seamlessly into an interior where each space is conceived with optimum efficiency in mind and crafted to perfection.
Although Feadship has – as always – respected the wishes of its clients and published very few details of the project, the Musashi motor yacht has nonetheless been the recipient of many distinctions from industry peers and leading superyacht organisations. In addition to her latest triumph at the ISS awards M/Y Musashi won a Neptune prize at the ShowBoats Design Awards, was named Best Custom Built Yacht at the Asia Boating Awards, and received the World Yacht Trophy in Cannes.
These awards complete an unprecedented year for Feadship in this respect with no less than nine major prizes spread across a comprehensive range of categories.
