Ferretti Group is deeply committed to the development of the North American market and continues to place a strong emphasis on the growth and progress of this region. 2011 is poised to be a dynamic year for the Group, which is increasing its efforts in the U.S to further establish a targeted distribution network and broaden the expansion of the Ferretti Group brands throughout North America. With a strong order book and range of new Ferretti Group products making entry into the U.S., the Group is well positioned to make head way. “We see vast potential in the Americas region for our brands’ continued growth. Ferretti Group is noted as one of the leading luxury yacht manufacturers worldwide. We recognize that it is essential to penetrate these key markets with our leading brands and support these efforts with strong sales and marketing initiatives to broaden our reach” states Ferruccio Rossi, Country Manager for Ferretti Group North America.
These initiatives are demonstrated by the recent extension of operations in the Northeast region of the U.S. via Allied Marine, the primary dealer for the Ferretti Group brands in North America. Allied Marine has officially opened its new office in the heart of Newport, Rhode Island to offer an extensive product portfolio and better serve Ferretti Group’s existing and prospective clientele in the area. The Allied Marine Newport Office will actively represent a selection of the Group’s exclusive brands throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut in addition to offering an array of brokerage vessel listings for yachts ranging from 50’ to 120’ft. The Newport Office will operate year round in concert with the Allied Marine Office in Sag Harbor that primarily supports New York and Long Island throughout the summer season. Allied Marine has offices throughout Florida and, with the recent establishment of the Newport and Sag Harbor offices, is well positioned to broaden the reach of Ferretti Group’s premium products across the Eastern seaboard of the U.S. The Group will continue to strengthen the sales network across the North American market through both Allied Marine and affiliated third party dealers.
The Ferretti Group is also considerably strengthening its sales and marketing initiatives in Latin America. Both South and Central America are proving to be areas of growth for the Group both in terms of potential clients in addition to an increase in the size of boats that these markets are seeking. The trend is leaning towards larger vessels, therefore the Group is broadening its dealer network throughout Central and South America and enhancing its sales and marketing efforts in the region. It has created a dedicated “task force” within the Ferretti Group company that is primarily dedicated to Latin America, which focuses on the sales, service and communication activities for this region. The Ferretti Group’s state of the art facility in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida houses its exclusive inventory and will be the hub for Latin America’s activities to support all dealers and customers for both Central and South America.
This year also marks the 20th anniversary of the Ferretti Group’s presence in Brazil through its valued partnership in cooperation with Marcio Christensen. Brazil has proved to be a solid market for the growth of the Ferretti Group, as it successfully established Ferretti Group Brasil as of April 2010. Located near the heart of Sao Paolo, this full scale production unit was recently completed and already produces up to 60 vessels for the Brazilian market with up to 600 employees with a production range including Ferretti Yachts, Pershing and Bertram in the 46’ to 83’ foot range. The Group is continuing to gain considerable traction and positive results in the neighbouring countries of Mexico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela. With Miami as the centre of Latin America activities, the Group’s strong involvement in this boat show proves to be a marked success.
