The Fairmont Hotel in Monte Carlo acted as host to the fifth edition of the Luxury Lifestyle Gala Dinner, which was attended by over 400 guests, 20 VIP partners and 15 supporting and media partners, the latter including CharterWorld.
The gala dinner took place on the 6th of April and amongst the entertainment there was a fashion show Victoria Napolitano, a charity auction featuring exclusive artwork and a helicopter trip with Monacair, rare jewels and tickets for the Eric Clapton concert in Berlin, and a four-course gourmet meal from the hotel Executive Head Chef Didier Aniès accompanied by international wines. The after-party continued long into the early hours of the morning and was a celebration worthy of this glamorous luxury yacht charter destination.
The event from founder Bradley Mitton intends to return for a 2020 date and keep the charitable momentum going by hosting over seventy events for Club Vivanova members over the coming year, including a Cannes Summer Gala on the 6th of July.
“Our intention for this gala since its creation has been to bring great people together and offer guests and partners the chance to give-back, network and build social and business contacts with other like-minded international professionals in a comfortable and elegant ambience,” Bradley Mitton commented.
“We aim to offer the best in gourmet cuisine and marry that cuisine with premium international wines. To enhance the event philanthropically, we give back to the global community and include a charity auction and select worthy and local charities who are transparent and connected to our future. Of course, there is no party without a sensational fashion show and dancing and so to end our gala, we build up to an after-party to enable everyone to let their hair down at the end of the night; and we certainly did that! I sincerely thank all of our partners and guests for their ongoing support.”
The auction raised over €45,000 for The Animal Fund (TAF) and the Chances for Children Foundation while at the same time boosting awareness of these transparent and locally-run charities.
The evening ended with dancers and a DJ leading the Vodka23 after-party, which had the whole ballroom dancing until two in the morning.
“We’ve now built a brand with this event and it is inspirational to see such an elegant gathering of people enjoying themselves,” Bradley continued. “The feedback from guests has been extremely positive and I am sure that we can continue growing the gala and providing funding to help to give children a better life and clean our beaches and oceans from plastics. The gala is all about enjoying life and more importantly, giving back.”
