Fincantieri Yachts has unveiled an exciting new 88 meter design project called the Virage 88 motor yacht. The Virage 88 superyacht was designed by the renowned design studio Andrew Winch Design. The Virage 88 concept was developed to underline Fincantieri Yachts’ interest in building top quality custom yachts in the range between 70 and 90 m.

For superyacht Virage 88 concept, Fincantieri Yachts joined forces with one of the most famous yachting design firms, Andrew Winch Design who already has an impressive portfolio of exciting superyacht designs.

Andrew Winch explains more about the superyacht Virage 88 design “We have created the Virage 88 as the yacht of the future. The elegant combination of flowing lines and soft shapes will create a seamless yacht sculpture – we design our projects as floating works of art. The Virage 88 is a yacht being built by artisans: the latest construction techniques are being employed to ensure her unique profile and futuristic detailing are perfectly crafted.

Synonymous with her name, she emulates the soft rolling curves of the waves, while providing a relaxed and calming environment for guests to enjoy.”

The Virage 88 motor spans 6 decks with plenty of outdoor space as well as a volumous interior. She will be able to accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 staterooms and will have a compliment of 29 crew.

The motor yacht Virage 88 is expected to obtain a maximum speed of 18 knots with a range of around 6,000 NM at 12 knots.

The Virage 88 superyacht concept as well as the new 135m Fortissimo yacht design concept was developed to illustrate the range of superyacht possibilities that Fincantieri Yachts could produce from 70m to over 160m. The delivery of 123m superyacht Serene in July has already demonstrated Fincantieri’s capabilities in the top end range of yacht market.
