The latest 24-meter motor yacht Maiora 24S was launched by the well known Italian builder Fipa Group on May 25. The new powerful Maiora 24S superyacht boasts soft as well as pure lines.
As every classic Maiora yacht (which was the first brand acquired in the 1980s by Fipa Group which today also boasts AB Yachts and CBI Navi shipyards) the hull and superstructure of the 24m luxury yacht Maiora 24S are white which amplifies the luminosity on board and highlights the characteristic shapes of outside features which have become so recognizable and a must in the nautical world.
Stepping aboard, the main saloon offers a welcoming environment made out of “Tanganika” walnut with dark Wengé accents and soft light-colored leathers which cover the comfortable sofa. Next to it is a spacious bar zone which has been made in “Portoro” marble. A large plasma TV is cleverly concealed in one of the spacious cabinets.
Going forward to the galley and main helm areas, the yard’s architects and designers have pushed the envelope a bit and shaken what appeared to be a classic character of the Maiora 24S yacht: the choice of colors is very original and of particular interest is the choice of lamps and lighting which emphasize the unquestionable style of this vessel.
The dining area features a spacious table which can accommodate up to 8 guests and is separated from the saloon by a double door in glazed glass decorated with Art Deco-inspired patterns. The galley, with its varnished elements and turquoise mirrors is just one of the examples of how special color patterns give the Fipa Group superyacht Maiora 24S her unique character.
The main helm finished in “Ferrari” red leather emphasizes the importance of this area which is the nevralgic center of the entire vessel. Going down to the lower deck, a VIP cabin with a double bed and a spacious en-suite bathroom is located forward. Two twin guest cabins with an en-suite bathroom each are located a bit further aft while the majestic master cabin is located all the way aft and occupies the full width of the Maiora 24S yacht.
The guest cabins exhibit a color pattern where different tones of green and brown are set against walnut essences and this continues in the bathrooms where reflective materials of light and subtle colors are used to accentuate luminosity. For his master suite, the owner has chosen lightcolored fabrics which produce a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere also evident in the master bathroom which is illuminated and embellished by the use of white onyx.
The aft cockpit is fitted with a dining table for 6/8 guests while the foredeck houses a spacious tender garage with a powerful hydaulic crane for launching and retrieval.
Going up to the flybridge, a spacious sunbed area followed by a spacious sofa finished in light colors allow guests to enjoy navigation and be entertained “en plein air”. The flybridge also features a comfortable sitting area with a table and a wetbar area fitted with a BBQ grill, fridge, icemaker and sink, all perfectly sheltered by an elegant hardtop.
The flybridge also boasts a practical outside helm position which enables the yacht to be sailed with maximum pleasure and the experience of navigation to be lived to its fullest.
