MDL Marinas’ Shamrock Quay has secured a full house of office as well as retail tenants in one of its on-site buildings. The Northam luxury yacht marina now features full occupancy in Building 2, after its recent refurbishment of the premises.
Recently renamed the ‘Endeavour Building’, the site is now home to a mixture of retail and office tenants, including new tenants Oil Spill Response, RIB Shack Marine and Inderkitchen. Existing tenant, Sakks Menswear, has also extended its premises on the site.
Jason Doughty, Estate Manager of Shamrock Quay, said: “As part of our recent refurbishment, we installed double glazing in the building and repainted the exterior. It looks great and we have been delighted with the swift uptake of the building’s vacant units.
“The marina is a thriving hub, with a range of different businesses joining those already established on-site. Drawing from this success, we are now planning further refurbishment works to other buildings on the site. We believe the marina is in an ideal location for businesses, with its easy access to the city centre and pleasant marine surroundings.”
MDL is the largest marina group in Europe and owns and operates 22 marinas and boatyards across the UK, Spain and Italy. All UK property management is handled by a dedicated in-house team and MDL Estates are always keen to build strong relationships with tenants to help both individual businesses and the wider marina flourish.
For anyone still looking for office premises in the local area there are still some units available at nearby Hamble Point Marina, with rents staring from as little as £3,400 per annum.
