Adastra is an outstanding 42.5-metre trimaran built by McConaghy Boats in 2012. Her futuristic design was developed by the naval architects and exterior designers from John Shuttleworth Ltd and her owner, who worked on the project for five years. This superyacht features fantastic seakeeping capabilities and low fuel consumption. The superstructure was built from carbon fibre with Nomex honeycomb core, while her hull is Glass/Kevlar foam sandwich.
Her interior design is a work of Jepson Designs and the shipyard. The minimalistic design of Adastra features light oak, white pain and luxurious fabrics in blue and white colours.
The saloon of Adastra is spacious and includes lounge and dining areas, where guests will also enjoy some picturesque views. There is a sunbathing area at the foredeck, while a dining table and a seating area are on the aft deck.
Accommodation is offered for 6 guests, assisted by 5 highly professional crew members.
Motor yacht Adastra carries two tenders: the 4.8-metre is stored on the aft deck the 3-metre tender stored in the garage. Adastra is powered by one main Caterpillar C18 1150ho @2300 rpm engine and twin Yanmar 110hp @ 3200 rpm outrigger engines. Her maximum speed is 22.5 knots, and she has a 4000 nautical miles range at a lower speed of 17 knots.
