The brand-new Thunderbird range represents innovative luxury sport and expedition yachts, built by GHI Yachts of South Korea with exterior design by Borzelli & Berta and naval architecture by Francesco Rogantin.
The available sizes start at just 20.5m/65ft for explorers and 30.5m/100ft and for a standard luxury yacht and currently reach 38m/125ft and 50m/165ft in their respective categories. All are semi-displacement vessels under 500 GT constructed with a hull and superstructure built in aluminium, and a top speed in the luxury yacht models ranging from 18 to 26 knots.
Sleek and contemporary interior and exterior styling from Borzelli & Berta, and naval architecture by Francesco Rogantin characterise the models, the only exception being the 130′ CARRIER which takes its inspiration from military styling.
Thunderbird Yachts places an emphasis on connected indoor/outdoor living, making optimal use of space for the feel of a yacht much larger: All models have a pool and plenty of outdoor space for alfresco dining and sunbathing, and the THUNDERBIRD 165′ features the main deck aft swimming pool, a foredeck plunge pool and a sundeck Jacuzzi. The layouts often incorporate a broad sunbed along the main deck aft and the foredeck in addition to the sundeck, perfect for guests to split up and spend time in smaller groups.
The THUNDERBIRD 130 CARRIER comes with a touch-n-go helipad on the foredeck a full-beam Owners’ suite directly connected to the foredeck swimming pool.
The accommodation is designed for a maximum of 10-12 guests over five en-suite cabins, with the crew provided ample en-suite cabins and a mess for everyone on board to journey in comfort.
