Overmarine Group has announced the sale of PROJECT AMALFI, a MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 motor yacht designed for high performance, long range and comfort.
The Owner is an experienced yachtsman who already owns a Mangusta-brand luxury yacht, and he has selected PROJECT AMALFI for mostly spending time in the Mediterranean and exploring its coasts, making use of her range to explore some of the more remote islands. The versatility and style of the MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 were deciding factors in her sale: The design by Alberto Mancini follows the modern aesthetic for simple and clean interiors with dynamic exterior styling. The interior layout has been left as open as possible for the Owner to customise with a layout and style of his choosing.
On board, there is an emphasis on outdoor living with ease of use allowing guests to flow from the interior to the alfresco lounges and dining areas at a whim. The tender garage has been moved to the bow, leaving space in the aft for a large beach club with two side terraces that rotate from the bulwarks to create a large platform of 75m2/807ft2 in contact with the sea.
In addition to a main deck salon, there is a skylounge on the upper deck that provides plenty of space for relaxation in an air-conditioned environment. Large glass doors lead out to the aft sunbathing area and forward to the seven-person bow Jacuzzi surrounded by sumptuous sunpads, with an alfresco lounge nearby.
In terms of speed, the MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 45 is capable of a maximum of 26 knots and at an economical speed of 11 knots she has a range of 3,500 nautical miles. A shallow draft of 2.2.m/7.2ft makes her a viable choice for both the Caribbean & Bahamas yacht charter grounds as well as the deep waters of the Mediterranean.
Luxury yacht PROJECT AMALFI is expected for delivery in 2020.
