The ISA (International Shipyards Ancona) GRANTURISMO yacht line was developed as an answer to market request for steel and aluminium displacement yachts with a harmony between internal and external areas, to great benefits of the exterior design of the yacht itself. The new ISA Granturismo line offers 32m, 40m, 50m and 60m Granturismo superyachts with design by Andrea Vallicelli.
The new ISA Granturismo yacht line was created based on the ISA120 and ISA 140 lines. Both of the lines proved that the more restricted areas of a small superstructure, if well designed, do not limit the yacht owner’s life on board and actually provide an opportunity to enjoy the more spacious external areas, where the majority of time is spent.
These features would therefore seem more suited to faster speedboats, but ISA is convinced that the same principles can be translated to yachts with more navigational comfort (less rolling and vibration), lower fuel consumption and transoceanic ranges. All Granturismo yachts will meet RINA and MCA standards.
The 60m Granturismo superyacht will be powered by twin MTU 16V4000 M93L engines, which allow her to reach a top speed of 21.5 knots and a range of 2,550 nm at 16 knots.
The 32m Granturismo yacht will reach a top speed of 13.8 knots and a range of 2,500 nm at 11 knots thanks to her twin Caterpillar C18 engines.
There are currently the 40m Granturismo yacht and a 60m yacht model under construction at the ISA yard in Ancona, Italy. Their delivery is scheduled for 2013 and 2014.
