Benetti has announced the launch of the first model of its new B.YOND 37M, luxury yacht GOGA, during a private ceremony held in Livorno on the 4th of July.
The concept comes from Stefano Righini while the interiors are by the Benetti Style Department and use pale neutral colours with white and blue as accents. Superyacht GOGA has a volume of 395GT and is constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with four decks available for guest use. While the outdoor areas offer spacious dining, sunbathing and lounging options, the interior layout boasts a generous open plan salon and dining area on the upper deck, a central lounge on the main deck that centrally connects the accommodation, and a walk-in wine cellar.
The accommodation sleeps 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins, consisting of 1 Master suite on the bridge deck and 4 further guest cabins, all placed on the main deck. There is also the option of a sixth cabin on the lower deck instead of a gym, and the Captain’s cabin can be divided to create a seventh cabin. In addition to the Captain, there is a crew of 6 which are accommodated on the lower deck.
The B.YOND 37M has been announced as the ‘greenest in her class’ and uses an innovative E-Mode Hybrid system by Siemens Energy in tandem with innovative SCR filters to control emissions. There are four different modes in total, with full-electric mode offering zero emissions while cruising and at anchor in hotel mode. The battery banks can be recharged in just three hours and grant up to 8 hours of autonomous cruising and up to 12 hours overnight. As a result, noise and vibrations from the engine room are mitigated, and CO2 emissions can be reduced by up to 24% and NOx by up to 85%.
M/Y GOGA has a range of 8,200 nautical miles when cruising at 9 knots in Eco Transfer mode, and can reach a maximum speed of 14 knots.
