Gulf Craft has announced that construction has started on its first 53 metre hull, the Majesty 175, at its shipyard in the United Arab Emirates.
Built on speculation, the all-composite five-deck Majesty 175 will feature the interior styling of Cristiano Gatto in a first-time collaboration with Gulf Craft. Concept images show a vast pool on the bow accessed by the main deck, while the aft will be fitted with a large beach club to further complement her lavish interior and exterior relaxation areas.
“The Majesty 175 is the first mega yacht for us – it’s part of an effort we are doing,” CEO Erwin Bamps commented. “Driven by the demand of an existing clientele that says: ‘We trust you guys.’ They believe more in us than we sometimes believe in ourselves.”
At the 2016 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, Gulf Craft unveiled an even larger superyacht concept, the Majesty 200, which would be built with a steel hull and a fibreglass superstructure
Majesty 175 is due for launch in the second quarter of 2019.
