Gulf Craft, recently named one of the world’s top 10 superyacht manufacturers, is currently attending the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) 2014, displaying its newest superyacht models. These include luxury yacht Majesty 135 – Winner of the “Best Asia Built Yacht’ at the 2013 Asia Boating Awards, motor yacht Majesty 121, as well as the Majesty 105 yacht, which has been nominated for Boat International’s 2014 World Superyacht Awards.
The shipyard is also highlighting its under-construction superyacht Majesty 155 – the largest build in its history – with a special presentation at DIBS of the superyacht’s luxurious interiors, which illustrate Gulf Craft’s superior focus on innovation and engineering, high quality material selection and craftsmanship.
In 2013, Gulf Craft’s international superyacht credentials were significantly bolstered with the delivery of six yachts above 30mt, three of which were above 35m. The company moreover gained a more prominent presence in mature markets such as Europe with the delivery of three superyachts to the Continent.
Mohammed AlShaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft, said, “Today Gulf Craft is seen as a shipyard that consistently brings innovative new designs to the market and this is evident in the award-winning line-up on show at DIBS this year. Our different approach to designing and manufacturing extends across our entire range of products – from superyachts to smaller leisure craft and sport cruisers. In recent months, Gulf Craft has been recognized as one of the leading shipyards on the global stage, joining other UAE brands in the luxury and marine lifestyle business that have successfully exported their expertise to foreign shores.”
Among its premiering line-up is a brand new yacht model, the Majesty 48, which has been designed to cater to a wider audience of yachting enthusiasts.
“The Majesty 48 is designed to make yacht ownership more attainable in a market that is showing increasing demand for mid-size yachts and leisure craft globally,” said Erwin Bamps, Chief Operating Officer at Gulf Craft. “With a surge in the development of marine lifestyle properties and more opportunity for leisure boating with upcoming projects such as the Dubai Canal and Bluewaters Island in Dubai, amidst other waterfront developments in the immediate region, we anticipate a promising market in the entire GCC.”
He added: “The Majesty 48 has been designed as a fully-equipped family leisure yacht that can be owner-managed and comes with all features desired in a yacht of its size. It is intelligently engineered as a full-option yacht that maximizes the utilization of interior space, natural light and usability.”
Building on its reputation of being able to spot early trends and deliver innovative concepts, Gulf Craft is also launching the Waveshuttle 56 – a brand new ‘alternative yacht’ design that can be utilized as a floating majlis, on-water limousine or luxury passenger transport vessel.
Gulf Craft is also exhibiting 2014 models of its Oryx sport cruiser and Silvercraft leisure craft range at DIBS 2014.
Gulf Craft is on hand at MD35 and EX24 at the Dubai International Boat Show, which runs from March 4th-8th at Dubai International Marine Club.
