Gulf Craft, the region’s largest and internationally renowned boat manufacturer is set for yet another successful Dubai International Boat Show in 2011, with the unveiling of a new model from each of its three distinct brands; Majesty, Oryx and SilverCraft. The new models include the Majesty 70, Oryx 42 Open and SilverCraft 38CC fishing boat. The launches will build on a successful year for the UAE luxury yacht manufacturer, which reported a 40% increase in sales in 2010.
The Gulf Craft team will proudly showcase the new launches for the first time at Dubai International Boat Show, along with revealing a brand new 95 foot yacht that will introduce a new lifestyle concept to the Middle East – the ‘Gulf 95 Exp’ and help to target a new emerging customer base worldwide.
“A turbulent economic and political climate worldwide has given birth to a new breed of customers worldwide, with different aspirations as compared to yacht buyers 3-4 years ago. We have not only adapted our company operations and existing product line-up to cater to that changed market reality, customer-focused as we have always been, but also ventured into the design and creation of entirely new product concepts like the ‘Gulf 95 Exp’, of which we are showing the first hull release to the world today. We are confident and optimistic about our future business growth prospects in light of the enthusiastic customer response to the innovative approach we have taken,” said Erwin Bamps, COO, Gulf Craft.
The Gulf 95 Exp is a luxury motor yacht that takes a different approach to yachting with the concept of luxurious ‘art de vivre’ living on the water at the heart of its design. The wider beam maximizes onboard space and comfort for private use, but also caters to the increasing market demand to be able to entertain a larger group of guests. The spaciousness is complimented by the wraparound windows on the main deck giving a 360 degree panoramic view, and increases the amount of natural light inside the yacht. The interior of the Gulf 95 Exp is finished with the utmost attention to detail, and the option of special customization for each owner.
Embracing the notion of ‘fuel and forget’, the Gulf 95 Exp is for those people who wish to slow down and shift back a gear when they are on the water. In-keeping with the aim of a hassle-free atmosphere and lifestyle, this means the Gulf 95 Exp is a practical, low maintenance yacht with lower running costs focusing on convenience as opposed to complexity.
With a twist on explorer yachting, the Gulf 95 Exp marks Gulf Craft’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of design and testing new ideas and concepts when it comes to styling yachts on the international yachting scene, as opposed to merely being focused on building fast and sleek luxury motor yachts and superyachts. The Gulf 95 Exp will make its global debut at the Dubai International Boat Show.
Building on the success of the hugely popular Majesty range, UAE-based Gulf Craft will be launching the Majesty 70 at this year’s Dubai International Boat show. The new model aims to fill the gap between the Majesty 63 and the Majesty 77, delivering unsurpassed luxury for up to 8 guests. The panoramic side window design creates the impression you are out on the water while seated in the spacious saloon. It has resulted in a yacht design with an exclusive presence and striking profile. With ample space for toys on the fly-bridge or on the optional hydraulic swim platform, the Majesty 70 is an elegant fly-bridge motoryacht with a large fun factor.
Continuing its development of fast, safe and exciting power fishing boats, Gulf Craft has added to its Center Console range the Silvercraft 38CC. Responding to requests for a bigger version of the hugely popular 31CC, the 38CC is available in two sleek designs, one as an open sport fisher with a large walk-around deck area for sea angling, and the other as a comfortable cabin version for extended cruising. Both models will be on display at the Dubai International Boat Show.
Adding to its popular and cost-effective Oryx range, Gulf Craft is launching the Oryx 42 Open to its best selling sport cruiser range. With a exemplary roomy seating area around the helm and the wet bar, the boat lends itself perfectly to comfortable fast cruising, as well as to leisure fishing activity. The continuation of addition of new models to its sport cruiser series dedicated towards a young and trendy customer base, is a reflection of the growing emergence of the sporting leisure marine market.
Mohammed Hussain Alshaali, Chairman, Gulf Craft commented; “The Dubai International Boat Show has cemented its position as a prominent show in the international boating calendar. Gulf Craft continues to consider the event as one of its most important marketing platforms of the year launching here 4 new designs to the world today. It is the ideal opportunity for prospective owners to gain first-hand experience of the quality, craftsmanship, and value for money that have made Gulf Craft a major player in the international market for luxury yachts and leisure craft.”
