One of the leading American yacht builders, Hatteras Yachts has announced its participation at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival. Hatteras will showcase their flagship motor yacht Hatteras 100 Raised Pilothouse, which will see her European premiere at the show.

The Hatteras 100RPH superyacht represents a highly successful 31-metre vessel introduced to the U.S. market in 2013. Hatteras/CABO Yachts president & CEO John Ward will be in Cannes for the European debut of the yacht, with the show taking place from 8 to 13 September, 2015.
“The Hatteras 100 Raised Pilothouse, which features exterior styling by noted Italian yacht designer Enrico Gobbi of Team 4 Design, is going to take the European yachting market by surprise,” predicted Alex Treleani, Hatteras/CABO Yachts director of international sales. “In Europe, Hatteras has a great reputation for high-quality fiberglass construction and engineering. But the 100RPH has Hatteras quality combined with European styling – It’s the best of both worlds.”
The luxury yacht Hatteras 100 RPH exhibited in Cannes is able to accommodate up to eight guests in four spacious cabins, each with an en suite bathroom. There is also space for a crew of four.
She is characterised by sleek and modern styling, with customised interiors by her owner, features, that will surely appeal to the European market. “Instead of the country kitchen, it has a private chef’s galley that is more in keeping with the formal yachting style popular in Europe,” Treleani said. “The owner also selected light, bright, woods and airy contemporary interior decor for this yacht. The furnishings were either hand-crafted by Hatteras artisans or sourced from upscale luxury goods showroom Cassina in Milan, Italy.”
The 100RPH yacht’s engineering, electrical systems and cabinetry, all were designed, constructed and installed in-house by Hatteras Yachts’ veteran engineers and craftsmen. This yacht was fitted with twin CAT C32A 1,900hp diesel engines, which allow her to cruise comfortably at 21 knots and reach a top speed of 25 knots. “The configuration of the 100RPH is especially appealing to our European clientele,” said Treleani, who expects heavy demand for tours during the show. “In keeping with our reputation for quality, Hatteras Yachts also come standard with an industry-leading 10-year structural warranty.”
Furthermore, Hatteras Yachts will exhibit the sporty and stylish GT63 and GT54 Convertible models at the Cannes Yachting Festival. “Luxury sportfishing yachts are a niche in Europe for clients who appreciate their durability and seakeeping abilities and are looking for a different style of boat,” Treleani said. “I am delighted to have such a strong showing of Hatteras Yachts to display at the Cannes show.”
