Heesen has announced the sale of the 50m/164ft steel displacement luxury yacht PROJECT AURA, known as HULL YN 19650 during construction.
Built under 500 GT, superyacht PROJECT AURA features exterior styling by Clifford Denn and interiors from Reymond Langton Design which her future Owner, an experienced American yachtsman, immediately fell in love with.
Naval architecture comes from Heesen, and the steel bulbous bow reduces drag for a more comfortable and fuel-efficient journey during long ocean passages and rough seas. The twin MTU 8V4000 M63 engines grant a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots with a range of 3,800 nautical miles.
The accommodation sleeps up to 10 guests across 5 en-suite cabins, placing the Master suite on the main deck forward and the rest of the generously proportioned guest accommodation on the lower deck.
M/Y PROJECT AURA is the second vessel to be sold by the shipyard within a fortnight, and she is expected for delivery in 2022 following her sea trials in the North Sea.
