Dutch shipyard Heesen has successfully launched PROJECT GEMINI (Hull YN 19755), which has been named luxury yacht RELIANCE.
Construction for 55m/180ft PROJECT GEMINI began on speculation before the Owner joined 15 months into the build, adding personal touches including an opening window in the Master suite, a new layout for the bathroom and windows added to the transom door to allow natural light into the beach club.
The 55M Steel model features a Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) and a ‘shark grey’ hull chosen by her Owner to match her strong, sturdy appearance by Frank Laupman and harmonise with the ‘shark tooth’ overhang in the superstructure. Luca Dini Design and Architecture produced the interiors, working closely with the Owners and their representatives to adapt the design to their aesthetic.
Interior images reveal a natural colour scheme in warm shades accented by dark wooden furnishings, crisp white light fixtures and gold and silver. The accommodation is designed for up to 12 guests in 6 en-suite cabins, comprised of an 82m²/882.6ft² Owner’s apartment on the main deck forward, a VIP stateroom on the upper deck, and two double cabins and two twin cabins on the lower deck.
Superyacht RELIANCE is due for delivery in autumn 2022, after which she will be available for charter.
