Dutch builder Heesen has delivered the 47m displacement motor yacht Ariadna. Heesen yachts pre launched superyacht Ariadna back in April 2011.
Yacht Ariadna was built under the hull YN 15347 and features naval architecture by Heesen, was designed by Omega yacht architects with interior design by Frank Laupman, also from Omega Architects. Her interior has been described as being classically Moscow Ritz-Carlton flavoured.
She is one of the Heesen 47 m steel hulled displacement motor yacht series with an aluminium superstructure. M/Y Ariadna has a sleek profile and is coloured all-white with dark windows. Her interior accommodation layout consists of a master cabin located aft on the Upper Deck and a VIP located forward on the main deck. Other guest cabins are situated on the lower deck.
Ariadna features Twin MTU 8V 4000 M70s enabling her to reach a top speed of approximately 15.5-knots with a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12-knots.
Luxury motor yacht Ariadna has now been delivered to her owner who can enjoy cruising on the yacht for the rest of the summer.
Ariadna yacht is the seventh hull in the well-known and award-winning 47-meter Series by Heesen. Superyacht ‘Ariadna’ is sistership to the other Heesen 47 yachts such as AIR, YN 15147, YN 12247, M/Y Yalla (2004), YN 13147, M/Y Let it Be (2006), YN 13547 M/Y Mon Plaisir (2007), YN 14047 M/Y Elandess (2008), and YN 14347, M/Y Blind Date (2009).
Two more 47-metre yachts are currently in build at Heesen. The YN 15747 and YN 16347 are due for delivery in 2012.
