Dutch shipyard Heesen‘s fifth and final launch of 2021 was the luxury yacht PROJECT AURA (YN 19650), which hit the water outside the Oss facility on the 17th of December.
The exterior styling by Clifford Denn takes inspiration from classic cars, producing flowing designs and functional details from bow to stern of this 50m/164ft motor yacht. The round-bilge steel hull is designed for long-range cruising in comfort, with twin MTU 8V4000 M63 engines producing a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 3,800 nautical miles cruising at 13 knots.
The interior will be completed by Reymond Langton Design in close collaboration with the Owners to personalise it to their preferences and lifestyle. The overnight accommodation sleeps up to 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins, including a Main deck master suite and the rest of the accommodation on the lower deck.
Work will continue on superyacht PROJECT AURA for the commissioning of her main systems before undergoing sea trials in the North Sea. Her delivery is scheduled for the end of April 2022.
