The 55m superyacht QUINTA ESSENTIA, launched by Heesen Yachts in March 2011 is now proudly taking charter bookings for next summer in the Mediterranean (2012). The 55 metre semi-displacement series motor yacht QUINTA ESSENTIA will charter at the rate of EUR 350,000 per week (plus 25% expenses, plus 20K Euros security deposit).
The luxury yacht Quinta Essentia was launched at the Heesen shipyard in Oss, The Netherlands on Friday, 11th March 2011. She was built under the hull number YN 14955 and is the largest and one of the most powerful Heesen yachts to be launched to date.
Heesen’s in-house naval architects, in collaboration with Van Oossanen Associates, created the sophisticated and highly efficient hard-chine hull, while Frank Laupman from Omega Architects drew the sleek and elegant exterior lines which are sure to turn heads in any port. The yacht was project managed by Nakhimov.
Yacht Quinta Essentia clearly shows her Heesen pedigree, boasting a pelican beak bow and reverse sheer. The yachts owners, in collaboration with Dobroserdov Design, personally worked on the colour scheme, which features a combination of a custom metallic dark red Awlgrip paint that is combined with oyster white which sets her apart from many of the other charter yachts that will be cruising the Mediterranean waters during the summer.
The inspiration for the dark red tone is taken from Montemaggio Merlot and reflects another of the owner’s passions – fine Tuscan wines. The same colour scheme is repeated on the limousine tender, designed by Vripack and custom built in New Zealand by Vaudrey Miller.
Charter guests onboard M/Y Quinta Essentia will not only be impressed by the stylish exterior profile and space onboard, but also by her futuristic interior in a minimalist style, conceived by interior designer Ken Freivokh and further developed by Michela Reverberi, who was responsible for the detailing and interior decoration.
The extremely attractive and conceptual interior design is modern and futuristic with an intimate atmosphere that is not too stark. The inspiration for Michela Reverberi’s interior design work was ‘Quinta Essentia’ – the fifth element – which is the highest synthesis of the four elements. These four elements – Earth, Water, Air and Fire are represented in the four guests’ cabins, while the owners’ suite with a sliver colour palate synthesizes them all. The 5th element theme of Quinta Essentia yacht is integrated subtly into the design through details, colors and patterns which are displayed against an absolute and pure white background.
From a charterer’s point of view, superyacht Quinta Essentia has a design that offers some notably luxurious features including the largest owner’s suite seen on any Heesen superyacht to date – comparable to those found on yachts of 80m or above. Other special features of the yacht include a sport a tender bay that can be flooded to allow easy launching and recovery of the tenders, a swimming pool on the main deck that is filled by a waterfall. Charterers will also love the gym and spa facilities, including a steam room and a massage room, located on the sun deck.
Motor Yacht Quinta Essentia is powered by twin 4.300kW, MTU 20V 4000 M93L diesel engines, enabling her to reach a notable top speed of 24 knots, quick enough to carry her charter guests in comfort and style along the French or Italian Riviera’s in no time.
