Exciting news comes from Heesen shipyard, as they announce the sale of another superyacht: Project Ruya is the third luxury motor yacht sold by Heesen since the beginning of 2017. This time the lucky owner of the fantastic 47-metre yacht is a yacht enthusiast from the US.
Due to a strong financial base of the shipbuilder, Heesen can deliver its superyachts withing a shorter period. Superyacht Ruya will be delivered to her owner on the 19 of June 2017 and will make her first appearance at the most significant yacht show in October, the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show. After that Ruya will be attending the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Motor yacht Ruya was built with a displacement steel hull below 500GT, which has proven its success in the construction of the other Heesen superyachts.
The interior design of Ruya was developed by Bannenberg & Rowell, who emphasised the yacht’s sporty looks. The designers created stunning decor which resembles progress and energy, thanks to the lavish fabrics, textiles and graphics. Heesen Yacht Interiors carried out incredible work outfitting the yacht. Heesen takes pride in being able to build a yacht entirely in-house.
The shipyard currently has ten superyacht projects under construction. Heesen superyacht Project Antares is scheduled for delivery in November 2018 and sold in March this year, 55m Project Alida is expected to be launched in Summer 2017.
