In what looks to be an exciting year for Dutch yacht builder Heesen, 2023 has begun with the launch of super yacht ULTRA G. Previously known as Project Skyfall, this 60m (196’10”) yacht is the ultimate in custom design from Frank Laupman of Omega Architects in collaboration with Heesen.
Luxury at high speed defines the characteristics of ULTRA G but she is so much more than this. She has been perfectly conceived for family fishing adventures, offers state of the art AV equipment like the Samsung ‘The Wall’ screen, an infinity pool and private owners jacuzzi and even a dedicated self-cleaning ‘dog park’ for canine companions!
The owner’s suite on the bridge deck offers superior levels of privacy and luxury including its own terrace with jacuzzi, large walk-in wardrobe and huge bathroom with a central oval bath and separate shower. Suites for the additional guests – accommodation is for 10 in total – are equally luxurious as are all the central entertainment spaces. 13 crew members can be accommodated on board and carefully conceived routes through the vessel allow them to go about their work without disturbing the guests.
Now to her technical and engineering prowess: she can reach unbelievable speeds of 37 knots generated by four MTU 20V 4000 engines which comply with the latest Tier III environmental regulations, has an efficient FDHF hull delivering a smooth, flat ride and is fitted with three stabilizers to deliver extraordinary levels of comfort.
We wish super yacht ULTRA G good luck on her upcoming sea trials … it will be cold in the North Sea in February!
