Heesen Yachts will be displaying the 47m superyacht ASYA at the upcoming Dubai International Boat Show, to be held from 1-5 March at the Mina Seyahi Marina. ASYA, delivered by the Dutch shipyard last year, is the sistership to RUYA, a striking motor yacht currently under build at the yard and available for purchase. Delivery of RUYA is scheduled for March, 2017.
47M ASYA
Delivered in 2015, she is the second vessel in the restyled 47m class by Heesen Yachts, with exterior design created by renowned Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. Her styling brings together elegant traditional lines with contemporary flair; a fusion emphasised by the use of continuous windows and matching black paintwork on the main deck and upper decks.
The restyling incorporates an important improvement in the housing of the rescue tender in an enclosed bay in front of the wheelhouse – a great achievement considering ASYA is under the 500GT threshold. Another notable design change includes the crew accommodation, which complies with LY3 regulations.
Interiors, designed by Bannenberg & Rowell can be described as sophisticated with a distinctly Far Eastern flair, inspired by the designs of Dieter Rams, Frank Lloyd-Wright and Tadao Ando.
ASYA is powered by two MTU8V 4000 M63 diesel engines and her well-engineered steel hull with bulbous bow allow for smooth passage. She has a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots of cruising speed.
47M RUYA CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT HEESEN YACHTS, AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
RUYA belongs to the newly restyled models in Heesen’s 47m full displacement class and is based on the award-winning ELENA. Her modern design incorporates everything Heesen Yachts stand for.
RUYA combines beautiful, luxurious interiors with the latest in engineering and naval architecture and is an ideal vessel for both private use or as a charter yacht.
Zero speed stabilisers will ensure maximum comfort at anchor and her well-engineered steel hull with bulbous bow provides smooth and safe cruising in all sea conditions up to a top speed of 15 knots.
Just like her sistership ASYA, RUYA boasts no less than 180 square metres of exterior deck space, including fantastic al fresco dining possibilities as well as areas for socialising and relaxations.
The transom door folds down to create a large swim platform to fully enjoy the waters and inside the stern garage there is room for a 6,5m tender and a 3m waverunner.
The main saloon is characterised by a taught, muscular and fluid interior design, with sporty high-tech finishes for an ambience that is fresh and light. Large windows across the entire length offer plenty of natural light and fabulous views of the yacht’s surroundings.
The Owner’s stateroom spreads over the entire beam of the yacht and boasts a study, a walk-in wardrobe and a huge bathroom with a central bathtub. Textiles, carpets and graphics discretely reference the themes of energy, movement and progress, which complement RUYA’s innovative exterior design.
Two double and two twin guest suites feature lines of polished stainless steel, joinery motifs and subtle patterned marble, combined with soft furnishings and inviting decor.
