The new Sea Pool from Henshaw Inflatables, the UK-based leading manufacturer of inflatable tubes for RIBs, will make an eye-catching exhibit for visitors to this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. Offering a safe haven for swimmers, a 4m x 3m Sea Pool will be anchored just off the main pontoon area.
This is the first time that Henshaw Inflatables has exhibited at Monaco Yacht Show. The company was established in 1976, and is the leading supplier of RIB collars, self-righting systems and Easystow Inflatable Fenders to the marine industry.
Henshaw Inflatables’ presence at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show reflects the company’s recent increase in sales to the super yacht sector. A large part of this is thanks to the success of the Sea Pool, which was launched in November 2010 at METS.
The ideal accessory for any super yacht, the Sea Pool can be quickly inflated and anchored or attached to the stern of the vessel, providing guests and owners with a ‘private pool’ within close proximity of the yacht. The underwater section of the Sea Pool is structured from a very fine 1.5mm built-in mesh, which prevents any unwanted marine life, including jellyfish, from entering the area.
Chris Hornidge, Managing Director of Henshaw Inflatables, says; “We have long been a supplier to the super yacht industry, supplying the likes of Eclipse, Luna, Maltese Falcon, Pelorus and many others, with Inflatable Fenders. We have now strengthened our product range with the Sea Pool which is a really unique product that has really grabbed attention already. Monaco Yacht Show is a great opportunity to demonstrate the Sea Pool to owners and captains.”
The Sea Pool has 20cm deep drop stitch double walled fabric, which gives the inflatable structure excellent strength and rigidity. A bathing platform surrounds the Sea Pool, ideal for lounging. Anchoring points, lifelines, and an optional stainless steel boarding ladder ensure ease of use. The Sea Pool is available in any size.
