Yesterday, July 2, 2015 saw the five-star Porto Montenegro, an enchanting Montenegro yacht holiday destination, welcome the inaugural Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro, building on Boat International’s portfolio of events, as well as a huge success of the Rendezvous in Monaco.

The event is being attended by such outstanding vessels as the 39m Tansu motor yacht Alyssa, the 50m Vitruvius/Perini superyacht Exuma, the 41,6m Jongert charter yacht Infatuation, the 41m Horizon Komokwa (ex Bikini Queen 2), the 41m Heesen Lady Petra, the 45m Logica super yacht Logica 147, the 41m Silyon charter yacht Queen of Andaman, as well as the 41m Benetti Stella Fiera. They all make a fantastic sight lined-up along the newly extended Jetty One.
The inaugural event kicked off with the Embraer Executive Jets Lunch at Ribarsko Selo, a restaurant well known for its breath-taking location and exquisite seafood. Later, the fun really began with a Cocktail Competition hosted by Aries – Trieste Chamber of Commerce. The Yacht Hop offers a unique opportunity for guests to go on-board these beautiful superyachts as well as the chance to catch up and meet all the other participants of the Rendezvous.

Today will bring the Cruise in Company. The superyachts will leave Porto Montenegro for the Bay of Kotor for the Parade of Sail and aerial photo shoot. Subsequently, the procession of yachts will head for Our Lady of the Rocks to participate in a private tour of the historical landmark. A delicious lunch of local Montenegrin produce then awaits at the riverside restaurant – Stari Mlini. Yachts will then cruise back to Porto Montenegro at their own leisure or perhaps take a spin on the Cantiere Savona Luxi33 tender. The day will then conclude with a whiskey tasting by Misahara at the Regent Hotel.
Saturday will provide guests with many opportunities to savour some of the local culture or experience the breath-taking scenery by choosing an activity that best suits the mood. Whether it be an adrenalin rush canyoning down one of the Kotor mountains; hiking in the hills to take in the fascinating view; a culinary experience to relish; or pampering at an exclusive spa resort, there will be undoubtedly something for everyone.

The event will end up with the Superyacht Rendezvous Party at Porto Montenegro Yacht Club which will start with a drinks reception by Misahara. A live band will play into the night and guests will dance under the stars by the glamorous Bay of Kotor – the perfect end to an unforgettable event.
