The inaugural Monaco Yacht Show Superyacht Awards were held on the evening of the 26th of September at the Le Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel in Monte Carlo and three superyachts in particular stood out above the competition: superyachts HOME, SEVEN SINS and JUBILEE.
The awards are designed to honour the superyachts that will make their world debuts at the Monaco Yacht Show and the panel of judges consists of superyacht owners and industry experts, who selected M/Y SEVEN SINS for the Best Interior Design Award due to her generous internal volume, timeless elegance and technical innovation. Her most outstanding feature is the floodable tender garage that can be converted into a beach club that provides direct contact with the sea.
Luxury yacht SEVEN SINS will be on display throughout the Monaco Yacht Show alongside 3 other Sanlorenzo superyachts: The 460Explorer MOKA, 37-meter SL118 TU Y YO and 38-meter SD126 TAKARA.
The MYS/RINA Award went to 50m/164ft Heesen M/Y HOME as the most environmentally friendly yacht on show. The Award recognises the superyacht whose construction complies with the environmental standards established by the Italian classification company, who this year are celebrating their 10th anniversary.
110m/361ft mega yacht JUBILEE was the recipient of two awards during the ceremony: the Best Exterior Design Award and Finest New Superyacht Award. Her waving lines create the illusion of twice the number of decks and her outdoor living spaces made her an outstanding choice for the award. The high quality finish of both interior and exterior living areas coupled with her excellent technical performance and power secured Oceanco the second coveted award.
