Horizon Group has recently attended the 2013 Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) as “Sponsor of Honor” and played a host to the summit attendees at the Horizon shipyard on Tuesday, September 10. The Summit took place from September 9th -11th, marked by a great success.

Taiwan’s yachting economy is one of the most popular topics at the APCS, and James Fwu, general manager of Horizon Group, personally toured guests through the Horizon’s flagship, the EP148 expedition yacht Horizon Polaris. Fwu explained Horizon’s flexibility as a semi-custom yacht manufacturer, noting that Horizon utilizes the most advanced technology and equipment as well as an integrated electronic management system for all builds; he also brought attention to Horizon’s focus on global marketing and branding, and our worldwide network of sales and service support.

Later that evening, Horizon Group CEO John Lu held a banquet on board Horizon EP148 superyacht Horizon Polaris for the VIP night, completed with cocktails and enjoyed the concert held by Kaohsiung city government at Kaohsiung harbor; VIP guests were also able to tour the new motor yacht E88 that was recently completed.
