The prominent Taiwan-based builder, Horizon, recently displayed the skylounge power catamaran PC60, motor yacht E56, as well as luxury yacht V74 at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show, running in the popular yacht charter location – Australia from August 1 to 5.
Visitors flocked to the Horizon Motor Yacht Australia display during the five-day show, eager to tour the three luxury yachts and inquire about build projects and new models and designs.
Horizon CEO John Lu attended the show this year on the behalf of the Taiwan Yacht Industry Association, accompanying the deputy mayor of Kaohsiung and his team to visit Brisbane to promote the 2014 Taiwan International Boat Show, which will take place on May 5th to 11th.
During their visit, Lu and the Kaohsiung deputy mayor met with the mayor of Brisbane to discuss the upcoming Taiwan show and invited the mayor to attend the 2013 Asia Pacific Cities Summit; Lu also presented the mayor with a crystal sculpture of the Horizon RP110 raised pilothouse superyacht model, a present from Horizon Group.
The group toured the Sydney Boat Show, led by Ship Export Manager MaryAnne Edward of the Australian Institute of AIMEX, to learn more about the promotion and product of the show; Lu then guided the group to Horizon’s display and provided a personal tour of the three luxury yachts.
Later in the evening AIMEX hosted a private banquet, where the Kaohsiung government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the company to assist Kaohsiung in hosting the 2014 Taiwan International Boat Show.
Lu was pleased to lend his efforts to supporting and promoting the 2014 Taiwan International Boat Show, and Horizon looks forward to showcasing its luxury yachts in its home country in 2014.
