Horizon RP110 Andrea VI Yacht has successfully completed her sea trials with new Owner. Andrea VI superyacht is the first hull of the highly anticipated RP110 raised pilothouse superyacht series, representing an innovative design, combining streamlined profile with impressive interior volume.
The sea trials took place with Andrea VI’s owner on board last week and Horizon pleased to announce that she performed exceptionally, fully meeting her owner’s wishes and expectations for his second Horizon yacht. The conditions were rough during the sea trial, but the RP110’s double-chine hull sliced effortlessly through the waves for a stable and comfortable ride, and she demonstrated a small and smooth turning radius, satisfying her captain at the helm.
Horizon dedicated three years to the design of the new Horizon RP110, which features exterior styling by J.C. Espinosa and a combined effort of Horizon’s design team and renowned interior designer Donald L. Blount for the structural components; two of the three years were also dedicated to perfecting the yacht’s innovative double-chine hull design. The Horizon RP110 has already proven successful on a global scale, with two additional new-build orders placed for hull two and hull three, and Horizon will host four potential clients from the U.S., Australia, Singapore and Europe on board the RP110 this week.
“Andrea VI” superyacht will soon be shipped for delivery to her owner in the U.S. and is set to make her world debut at the 2013 the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.
