The newly built Horizon RP97 motor yacht Summer Wind successfully finished her sea trial in Kaohsiung harbor in April. The 29.57m Summer Wind superyacht is now fully prepared to be delivered to her Australian owner.
Powered by twin CAT 1600bhp engines, the luxury yacht Summer Wind has a cruising speed of 16 knots and top speed of 22 knots at full load. Thanks to the advanced technology Horizon utilizes to control weight, Summer Wind is lighter than previous RP97 models – even though she has plenty of sound insulation material – and she runs 2 knots faster.
The stylish exterior of the RP97 superyacht Summer Wind was designed by well-known Sweden designer John Lindblom, and her interior design was a collaborative effort between Horizon’s in-house design team and Nikki Parris from the owner’s selected Australian Design Company.
With a 21ft beam and 105ft in length, the 29.57m Summer Wind yacht features a spacious salon incorporated with a custom-designed stereo theater system by well-known Australian company Goldclass – the 65-inch plasma TV gives the salon the feel of a private theater, which is ideal for entertaining. The dining area, which is highlighted by a large window that brings in natural sunlight, can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Below deck, the accommodations have been designed to meet the owner’s requirements and incorporate 3 en-suite staterooms that provide plenty of livable space on board.
With her well-thought out design and state-of-the-art equipment, Summer Wind ensures that no matter where one is on board, he will cruise in luxury and comfort.
