Horizon Yachts have announced that 33.99m (111’6”) FD110 motor yacht CROWNED EAGLE has been launched and delivered to her new owners, who are experienced Horizon Yacht clients and were keen to upgrade and customise a layout to suit their lifestyle.
She represents the next generation of luxury superyachts with stylish exterior lines, impressive interior volume and large outdoor spaces. Superyacht CROWNED EAGLE is a tri-deck version of the FD110 and boasts a five-stateroom layout with an on-deck master suite, enclosed sky lounge, beach club and generous crew quarter.
Her main deck aft is highlighted with a ten-seater round dining table, plus a wet bar and built-in U-shaped seating and storage with sliding glass doors which lead into the main salon. A side deck runs the full length of the port side on this level and leads to the spacious foredeck area which can be shaded with awnings and offers sunpads, a Jacuzzi tub and built-in dinettes.
The bridge deck aft features a dinette as well as a bar with fixed bar stools and when the aft tender is deployed, there is additional space for lounging or entertainment. The sun deck, which is accessed via stairs from the bridge deck is another large space with plenty of sofas, a bar and selection of sun pads.
One inside, in the main salon there is a comfortable seating area positioned aft and a formal dining table with a sunburst inlay amidships. The FD Series’ signature floor-to-ceiling windows feature prominently in this space, which is outfitted in light oak with walnut accents. A semi-etched partition separates the salon from the well-equipped galley which features a centre island as well as a seating nook with a fold-down table for the chef or crew. Access has been carefully considered with a private staircase from the galley to the crew quarters and a port door hidden from the guest areas allowing discrete crew flow.
On the main deck, the owners’ master suite has been configured to include not only a nearly full-beam his-and-hers ensuite with central shower aft, but also an incredible set of walk-in wardrobes built into the forward bulkhead. The ensuite guest staterooms on the lower deck are spacious and configured as three queen and one convertible twin leading from a wide hallway.
Her new owners are said to be currently enjoying a maiden voyage to the Florida Keys before returning to the Bahamas, one of their favourite cruising areas. These are also popular charter destinations, so take a look at our list of yachts available there and start planning your winter yacht vacation.
