The prestigious Taiwan-based shipyard, Horizon Yachts, is proud to announce the launch of the third RP110 raised pilothouse motor yacht PARADISE. Due to be delivered to her owner in Australia at the end of this month, the all-new superyacht PARADISE is presently undergoing sea trials.
“The new Horizon RP110 superyacht model has enjoyed global success since being launched last year,” said Horizon CEO John Lu. “Hull one ‘Andrea VI’ was delivered to her second-time Horizon owners in November 2013, and hull two has delivered to an owner in Asia. Hull three ‘PARADISE’ is definitely another notable launch for Horizon, as she is the largest yacht we have sold in Australia.”
With a total LOA of 116-feet, luxury yacht “PARADISE” is tailored to suit her Australian owner, his family and their cruising lifestyle. Her sleek exterior and sweeping style lines are the work of J.C. Espinosa; Horizon and Donald Blount collaborated on her high-performance double chine hull design, which provides shallow draft along with high dynamic stability at high speeds and low resistance at low speeds. Working together with Horizon’s in-house designers, the owners chose South American Walnut in satin finish as their main wood and accents in high-gloss Ebony, providing a nice contrast with the light soft goods and décor found throughout the yacht.
Super yacht “PARADISE” features a five-stateroom layout with an on-deck master and four guest staterooms below deck: two mirrored VIP staterooms midship and two twin guest staterooms forward. Crew quarters are completely aft on the lower deck. Accommodating 10 guests and 6 crews, “PARADISE” allows ample room for the large group of family and friends that often cruise with the owners. On the main deck, the main salon is comfortable and spacious with a large L-shaped sofa and love seat, and the adjacent formal dining area accommodates eight to ten guests; a fully equipped galley mid-ship and to port is capable of meeting the demands of entertaining large groups on board.
As Australia’s shallower waters can be of concern to larger yachts, Horizon installed the Muir windlass system, which is specifically designed to provide a stable grip and higher-quality anchoring within Australia. Horizon also ensured that the Hi/Lo swim platform on “PARADISE” yacht is light-weight and, per her owner’s request, can extend out to 12 feet 2 inches, with a load capacity of 3300 pounds for a custom tender. The stern garage is designed as a beach club and features a hydraulic garage door that opens to views of the sea; the stern garage can also be accessed independently via a watertight door within the hydraulic garage door. For entertaining on the flybridge, “PARADISE” superyacht can accommodate up to 20 guests at the dinette table, and a second helm for the captain is outfitted forward on starboard side.
Horizon Yachts is currently in contract negotiations for the RP110 superyacht hull four. “Our clients around the world have been and continue to be impressed with the RP110, not only for her design and performance but also because she offers immense layout flexibility. We look forward to seeing her success in the superyacht arena continue,” said Lu.
