The yachts very efficient hull form offers lower speeds normally associated with traditional displacement hulls, but with much lower fuel consumption. This characteristic results in a one-of-a-kind high-performance, incredibly comfortable displacement yacht with a lower environmental impact.
However, Project NOVA is not only ultra-efficient, low fuel-burning vessel! One of her most important and unique features if the silence. Quite cruising can be expected aboard this yacht, giving a new dimension to the overall yachting experience.
NOVA is being created with exterior design by Omega Architects and interior design by Sinot Yacht Design. Her exterior lines break with Heesen yachts of the past, yet keeping the same sense of seaworthiness and performance that have become the shipyard’s trademark. Her vertical bow is not only ecstatically pleasing, but also offers a reduced vertical acceleration that normally provides discomfort for guests aboard.
Accommodation is provided for up to twelve guests in six well-appointed and spacious stateroom, as well as numerous outdoor areas to enjoy life at sea. Project NOVA is currently for sale and is scheduled to be delivered in Spring of 2017, following intensive sea trials in the North Sea.
