Running from October 2 to 4 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) 2012’s online registration is now open, as announced today. The IBEX is a premier marine technology as well as networking event in North America bringing together thousands of decision-making professionals from all segments of the boating industry.
Registered attendees have free access to the exhibit hall and manufacturers’ workshops. For a nominal fee, attendees have the option to choose different conference seminar packages from the full conference package (nine sessions), six pack (six sessions) or individual sessions.
“We have more than 90 technical and business management sessions in 13 different tracks taught by some of the leading experts in their fields,” said Carl Cramer, co-director of IBEX. “IBEX 2012 is more diverse than ever. This year, our seminars have something for everyone in the boating industry, addressing all aspects of boat design and construction, management, sales and marketing.”
“More than 500 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest technologies and innovations at IBEX 2012,” said IBEX co-director Thom Dammrich, president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). “As the boating industry continues to recover from recession, now is the perfect time to invest in knowledge through training, to network with the industry’s best and be on the cusp of change. This year is shaping up to be the biggest and best IBEX yet, where the business of boating gets done.”
IBEX organizers have also partnered with the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB), the official housing agency for IBEX 2012. With over 19 participating hotels in the downtown and airport area ensuring the lowest room rates and “extras” that are only available to attendees who make their reservations in the IBEX room block, LCVB is also offering monthly drawings. The Grand Prize, two tickets to the 2013 Kentucky Derby, will be awarded at IBEX in October.
